GPVAC ND-FLU (A)

Description:

An inactivated gel-based aqueous vaccine homologous to the local strains of Newcastle Disease virus (NDV) and Avian Influenza Virus (AIV) serotype H9N2 for poultry.     

 

Indications:

GPVAC ND-Flu (A) is recommended for immunization against Newcastle Disease (ND) and avian influenza (AI) serotype H9N2 in poultry of all ages. It can be used even in the face of ND and/or AI H9 outbreak at an early stage of infection.

Composition:

GPVAC ND-Flu (A) contains local & inactivated strains of Newcastle Disease Virus (genotype-7F) and Avian Influenza virus type H9N2 with oil emulsion adjuvant. 

 

Dosage & Administration:

The vaccine may be used in broilers, breeders, and layers at 8-10 day of age as a primer @ 0.30 ml per bird subcutaneously. In laying birds, subsequent shots of GPVAC ND-Flu can be used at 8-week interval, depending on the antibody levels against ND and AI-H9 in the vaccinated flocks. Because of its inactive form, its usage in the face of ND or H9 outbreak is very safe. Its dose in such circumstances is 0.50 ml per bird.

Precautions:

Store between 2-8oC. Do not freeze. Shake well before use.
