The vaccine dose is 0.5 ml per bird to be injected subcutaneously and the recommended age is 16 to 20 weeks but not less than 4 weeks before onset of lay. For its optimal booster effect the birds should be first primed with killed vaccines of individual AIV serotypes (H5, H7 and H9).
